THE WHO & WHAT
Natasha Watson (artist name URBAN FAY) is a Fine Art BA graduate from UWE, Bristol, now studying for a Masters degree in Illustration and Authorial Practice at Falmouth University.Her work is multidisciplinary: beginning with a love for large scale mixed media pieces, Urban Fay has come to rest between the realms of community engagement, mural work, creative writing and illustration.
In essence, Urban Fay’s work is centered in finding unconventional forms of storytelling - building spaces that inhabit the in-between. Her vision is of creating a landscape of confluences; where the gritty beauty of present-day urban life mingles with the folkloric, mythological elements of our past, and the speculative hopes of our future.
